Creighton University
Creighton University is a Jesuit and Catholic university located in Omaha whose main campus is bounded by 20th Street, 35th Street, Cass Street, and Cumming Street. Creighton was founded in 1878, sits on a 108-acre campus just outside Omaha's downtown business district, and currently enrolls about 6,800 students. Creighton is one of 28 member institutions of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. The current president is the Rev. John P. Schlegel. It was named after the Creighton family who helped bring the telegram to the American West.

- Kiewit Hall is a co-ed freshman hall located on the west end of campus.
- Deglman Hall
- Deglman Hall is the only all-female residence hall available to freshmen.
- Gallagher Hall
- Gallagher Hall is another freshman hall at the western end of the main campus.
- Swanson Hall
- Swanson Hall is home to the Freshman Honors Scholars Community.

- Swanson Hall is a residence hall for sophomores located central to the main campus.
- McGloin Hall
- McGloin Hall boasts suite-style rooms, complete with a kitchenette and private bathroom. McGloin Hall is also home to the Java Jay, Creighton's coffeehouse.
- Kenefick Hall
- Kenefick Hall is a apartment style residence hall for Creighton sophomores located on 20th Street.

Housing for upperclassmen are apartment-style rooms are furnished with tables, couches and full-service kitchens.
- Davis Square
- An apartment for junior and senior students located on 20th and Burt Street.
- Opus Square
- The newest addition to Creighton's upperclass residence living located across Davis Square for juniors and seniors. Similar to Davis!
- Heider Hall
- Heider Hall - another apartment style hall houses all class years including upperclassmen, professional/graduate students, or students with families. It is located on 22nd Street, across from the Capitol Hill Apartments.

The official CU mascot is the Billy the Bluejay. Collectively, fans and alumni are referred to as the "Jays."
