Durham Museum
The Durham Museum (formerly the Durham Western Heritage Museum) is located in Omaha at 801 S. 10th Street. It is located in the former Union Station and has 65,000 square feet of exhibits. The museum houses traveling exhibits including the Beatles, fashion in film, etc.

The mission of the museum is to collect, preserve, interpret, and exhibit historical and cultural artifacts relating to the history and development of the western regions of our country.
[edit] Building history
The building was originally built in 1931 by Union Pacific as Omaha's Union Station and a show piece in the city where their headquarters was located. The museum has a focus on Omaha, its neighborhoods, notable citizens, and meaningful historical events of the city.
[edit] Exhibits
The museum displays seven permanent galleries. They are the Bishop Clarkson Community Gallery, the Byron Reed Gallery of Coins and Documents, the Baright Home and Family Gallery, the Fraser Stryker Trans-Mississippi Exposition Gallery, the Harriman Track Level, the Omaha at Work Gallery, and the Union Station Gallery.
