Omaha's first country club and golf course founded in 1898. It is located at 3615 Woolworth Avenue. In its hayday, this course was nationally renound and played host to the best amateur tournaments in the country. However, in the mid 1900's after WWII, part of the land was aquired by the government to build a veterans hospital.
