Florence Days

Florence Days is an annual event held in the Florence neighborhood that celebrates the historical legacy of this community. Florence Days is held the second weekend of May annually. Events include Music in the park, held at Mormon Park; a Vintage Car Show following the parade at the Florence Home at 7915 North 30th Street, and an open house at the Florence Home that includes free blood pressure check, free computer sessions, and a bake sale.[1]

The premier event in conjunction with Florence Days is the annual Florence Day Parade, held annually since 1961. Organized by the Florence Historical Foundation, the parade features floats by organizations throughout the community, including Omaha North High School.[2]
