Harrison County
Harrison County is located in western Iowa along the Nebrasak/Iowa border. It has a population of around 15,666 as of 2000. It is also part of the Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan area. The land of Harrison County is made up mostly of the Loess Hills that run through it north to south. The county covers about 450,000 square miles and over half of the county's residents live in 10 towns: Dunlap, Little Sioux, Logan, Magnolia, Missouri Valley, Modale, Mondamin, Persia, Pisgah, Woodbine.
