Holland Performing Arts Center
The Holland Performing Arts Center is a performing arts center located at the intersection of 13th and Douglas St. in downtown Omaha. The facility was designed by HDR in collaboration with Polshek Partnership Architects and opened in October 2005. The Holland Performing Arts Center specializes in events requiring a more acoustical environment, including performances by the Omaha Symphony, the Omaha Area Youth Orchestra, and events in the Omaha Performing Arts Presents season.
The Center includes the Peter Kiewit Concert Hall (which seats 2,005 and has a stage size of 64 feet by 48 feet), the Suzanne and Walter Scott Recital Hall (which seats 486 and with as stage size of 40 feet by 32 feet), and a semi-closed event courtyard which seats 1,000 people.
