Luigi Waites
Luigi Waites is perhaps the most renowned jazz drummer in the Omaha Community. He has played in Omaha over the last 50 years.

Waites' style has been influenced by Buddy Rich, Joe Jones, Louie Belson, and Max Roach. Throughout his career, Waites has played with many notable jazz artists. Among these notable artists are jazz legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, and Dinah Washington. Not only does he perform all around Omaha, but he also takes time to to teach and work with students from K-12, to college students.
