Mid-America Center
The Mid-America Center is a convention center and sports arena located close to the intersection of I-29 and I-80 in Council Bluffs. The arena seats about 9,000 people for concerts and 6,700 for hockey and from 2002-2008 was home to the Omaha Lancers. The Mid-America Center also has a very big draw for popular concerts, second to The Qwest Center for the area. The exhibition hall is over 24,000 square feet in size and the ballroom and meeting space is over 23,000 square feet. Banquet seating capacity is approximately 1,500 people. There are 2,800 parking spaces outside the facility.
