Miller Park
Miller Park is located at 6201 North 30th Street in the Miller Park neighborhood of North Omaha. Bounded by Redick and Kansas Avenues on the north and south and 24th and 30th Streets on the east and west, respectively, the park was added to the city of Omaha park system in 1891.[1][2]

[edit] About
The park sits on 73 acres with a lake, artesian well fountain and beautiful landscaping, and is widely regarded as a jewel among the city's parks. It was once called the "Pride of North Omaha".[3] Today the park also maintains a highly-regarded golf course, tennis courts, and a water park. [4]
It was established two years after city pioneer and area landowner George Miller failed to locate the Trans-Mississippi Exposition there. However, he was consolidated by the city when they built Omaha's Prettiest Mile Boulevard in 1892, which eventually led from Downtown Omaha to the park.
