Omaha Children's Museum
The Omaha Children’s Museum is a a participatory museum designed for families located at 500 South 20th Street in Downtown Omaha. The museum was founded in 1976 and strives to be a place where children challenge themselves and learn how the world works through play. The museum offers a range of programs and activities throughout the year and sponsors a variety of visiting exhibits.
Attractions include a repaired and painted building, an 11,000-square-foot second floor open for traveling exhibits, the Rainbow Farm, the Charlie Campbell Science and Technology Center, an early childhood area, a toddler exploration center, a creative arts center, as well as a working TV studio and grocery store. The music also offers opportunities for kids to have birthday parties and other special occassions.
