Omaha Public Library
The Omaha Public Library is the public library system operated by the City of Omaha. Their mission is, "Omaha Public Library enriches our community by providing unlimited opportunities for information, education, inspiration and imagination."

The current administration of the OPL includes the Library Director Rivkah Sass; Maggie Tarelli-Falcon, the Assistant Director; Janet Davenport, the Facilities Manager, and; Jody duRand, the Business Manager. Sarah Watson is the Staff Development Manager; Gloria Sorensen is the Main Library Manager; Sarah English is the Public Services Coordinator and Linda Trout is the Collection Development Manager.

The Omaha Public Library is governed by a nine member board of directors that is appointed by the Mayor of Omaha and confirmed by the Omaha City Council. Members serve three-year terms.
