Ralston High School

Ralston High School in Omaha, Nebraska, is one of the main Class B schools of the metropolitan area and a key educator for Omaha students. RHS is located in Douglas county of Omaha and serves 9th through 12th grade and is part of Ralston Public Schools. It has about 1000 students overall and a student to teacher ratio of 16:1. This school has opened in 1954 and is part of District 54 of Ralston, Nebraska. Recently, Ralston High School went through major renovations that cost Ralston taxpayers millions of dollars. The renovations were needed as the old structure was more than 50 years old and very unstable towards student safety, especially during violent weather. The new renovations destroyed some parts of the old structure to build new ones but also added to the school grounds from in the original space. Because of the student population rising, RHS is currently in the process of becoming a Class A school among Omaha high schools, which will put it as a rivalry towards bigger high schools such as Bellevue West, Westside, and many others.
