Robert's Skate Park
Roberts Skate Park is a skating park located at 74th and Cass Streets that is operated by Omaha Parks and Recreation.. For the skateboard enthusiast, it is one of the best known skate spots in the Omaha area. This skate park was opened October 25th, 1999 at Robert Park with the novice and pro skater in mind. The park contains a street course set apart from a few bowls and a snake run. The street course includes a pyramid, banks, flat rails, ledges, quarter pipe, and a stair set. The weekends on nice days seem to be fairly packed but during the week one can ride all day with ease. The silhouettes are dedicated in honor of the late Matthew Kress and Tommy Craft who campaigned for a place where skaters could come together in a welcoming environment.
