Rose Theater
The Rose Theater is an impressive theater located at 2001 Farnam Street. It was designed by John Eberson, opened in 1927 under the name of The Riviera, and boasts a combination of Moorish and Classical architecture. Each year, the Rose Theater hosts over 700,00 people from Omaha as well as from across the country. It is home to the Omaha Theater Company, the third largest professional children’s theater in the nation, and the Omaha Theater Ballet. The completely renovated theater is the site of major theater productions, dance and drama classes, and the unique Teens N’ Theater after-school program.
