South Omaha
South Omaha, also known as South O is a community on the southern side of Omaha. The area is known for its rich culture and diversity. Around 1900 South Omaha became one of the nation's major stockyards and meatpacking leaders.
The traditional borders of the area are
- North Side: Vinton Street
- South Side: Harrison Street
- East Side: The Missouri River
- West Side: 42nd Street
