As a complement to Nature Unleashed , The Durham’s curatorial and exhibit design team collaborated with Nebraska Life Magazine to create We Lived It: Nebraska Storm Stories. This touching exhibition highlights the personal accounts of Nebraskans during some of the most severe storms to hit the area in the past century. We Lived It chronicles the 1948/1949 blizzard, the 1952 flood and the 1975 Omaha tornado through stories and objects from witnesses of these events.
We Lived It: Nebraska Storm Stories is sponsored by the Nebraska Humanities Council, Nebraska Cultural Endowment and Omaha Public Power District.
