U.S. Olympic Team Swimming Trials

The U.S. Olympic Team Swimming Trials were held at the Qwest Center in Omaha from June 29 to July 6, 2008 and will be held again in Omaha from June 25 to July 2 in 2012. In 2008 two temporary Olympic size swimming pools were set up trials and the seating capacity of the Qwest Center was reduced from 17,000 seats to around 14,000. In addition to the swimming trials, the convention center will host the USA Swimming Aqua Zone, the sponsor and fan experience area.
