Valmont Industries
Valmont Industries, Inc. (NYSE: VMI) is a large publicly held Nebraska-based manufacturer of Valley center pivot irrigation systems, windmill support structures, lighting and traffic poles, and steel utility poles. They do a lot of business in China and also help secure the U.S. - Mexico border.
Their main plant is off Federal Highway 275 in Valley, Nebraska (near Omaha), the company name likely comes from a combination of the names of two nearby towns, Fremont and Valley.
